On April 16, World Voice Day is celebrated around the globe. The purpose of this day is to highlight and celebrate one of our most important tools for communication - our voice.
This year, Språkstudion invites everyone at Stockholm university to watch the movie The King's Speech (by Tom Hooper), followed by a short review and discussion on stuttering led by Signe Tonér, speech therapist and PhD student in linguistics, and Christine Ericsdotter Nordgren, PhD in phonetics and Director of Språkstudion.
The event is open to students and staff at Stockholm university. We'll of course make sure there'll be lots and lots of popcorn! Do you want to join in? Sign up to info@sprakstudion.su.se no later than April 15.
