Sofia El Fakir is part of the rich story telling culture in Morocco, transferred from woman to woman. She has been active in Morocco, Spain and Sweden as a language teacher, dramatist, translator and interpreter.
In March and April, Språkstudion, the Department of Romance studies and Classics and the Moroccan Embassy in Sweden invite you to story telling seminars with Sofia El Fakir. She will tell us a story on what the most important thing in life might be: money, land or words?
Sofia will tell the same story in three different languages on different occasions. On April 11, the story will be told in French.
The story telling seminars are open to students and staff at Stockholm University. Beginners as well as advanced speakers are welcome to join.
Pre-register to info@sprakstudion.su.se. Coffee, tea and some Moroccan sweets will be served!
In addition to the story telling in French on April 11, we offer the following story telling seminars:
- French March 12, 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
- Arabic March 14, 7 p.m. - 8 p.m.
- Spanish March 22, 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Welcome!
