Welcome to a seminar on language learning and literature on Thursday October 13 - the very Thursday when the winner of this year's Nobel Prize in literature most probably will be announced. We will discuss how literature, reading and writing can be used for language learning and development of cultural knowledge in our native languages as well as in the languages we learn later on in life. We will also experience a hands-on exercise in creative writing lead by Adnan Mahmutovic, PhD in English literature.
Programme
- 3 p.m. - 3.30 p.m.: The event opens with a mixer, coffee and tea will be served
- 3.30 p.m. - 4 p.m.: Adnan Mahmutovic, PhD in English literature: Workshop in creative writing
- 4 p.m. - 5 p.m.: Mixer and discussion
