The European Day of Languages is celebrated around Europe to encourage us all to learn more languages, and to remind us of the beauty and necessity of linguistic diversity.

This year we will honour this day with an interesting talk by Calle Börstell, PhD student at the Section of Sign Language, Department of Linguistics. The title of the talk is "The sign languages of Europe - and beyond". It will be held in English and interpreted to Swedish Sign Language.

There will also be a performance by the Slavic choir, mingle, and a cool language quiz! The questions will be focussed on the 27 languages at our language cafe, and some of the language cafe coordinators will be present. A great prize and eternal glory awaits the winner!
