Student

Students can use Språkstudion’s resources to study languages individually or in groups. Our computer rooms and group study areas are available primarily to language students, and when possible also to other students at the Faculty of Humanities. Our Language Cafes and Tandem Exchange Programme are open to all students at Stockholm University.

To access Språkstudion’s computer rooms you will first of all be guided through an introduction to our resources and conditions of use. This usually takes 15-30 minutes. You can then use your university card to check in at Språkstudion. Your university card will be sent to you once you have registered and activated your university account. If you need more information on this, please read this general information or watch this video. Please use this link to find our one-week schedule of available computer seats.

As a language student, you can usually find the necessary introduction to Språkstudion on your course schedule. If not, or if you have missed your scheduled introduction, please visit Språkstudion to watch the introduction film, or watch the introduction film online (Note: The film is only available in Swedish without subtitles. Subtitles in English will be available soon). Log in with your SU-id. Register at Språkstudion after watching the introduction film. Please contact us if you have any questions.
